MEDICAL CLINIC

The Malowa Medical Dispensary is an outpatient clinic offering basic health care services to a community of 8,000 to 10,000 people. Free sevices are offered to all orphans served by the clinic which temporarily opened its doors on March 15, 2013 but due to a lack of funds and electricity sacled by its services to minor first aid. In March 2015 solar panels paid for by the Tanzanian Children's Project were finally installed on the roof of the clinic. The final step to restore full operating capacity to the clinic is to obtain certification from the government. This process is currently underway.

Services offered at the clinic are routine checkups, maternal child heathcare (MCH), wellness programs, HIV/AIDS education, vaccinations, nutrition education, and many other services.
